Choose your curriculum
The same subject is examined very differently across the three. A tutor who only knows one of them is guessing at the other two.
A level
Three or four subjects studied in depth, then examined almost entirely at the end. Most marks lost here are technique rather than knowledge.

How we match a tutor
Matching on subject specialism rather than availability is the whole difference between explaining an answer and explaining why it is the answer.
A conversation about where the student actually is: the grades, the gaps, the deadline they are working to, and whether the aim is to consolidate or to be stretched.
We match on subject, to a tutor who read that subject at Oxford, Cambridge or an Ivy League university. Where a student needs more than one, they are matched separately for each.
Work begins, structured around the exam board or programme, the specification, and the time actually left before the assessment.
Termly written reports to parents on what has changed and what has not. If the fit is wrong, we change the tutor rather than wait for you to raise it.

If the subject your son or daughter needs is not on that list, ask, because it moves with the team. We will tell you honestly whether we can match them well rather than putting a generalist in front of them.
Yes. A level across AQA, Edexcel, OCR and CIE, the full IB Diploma Programme including Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay, and College Board AP. Tutors are familiar with the assessment structure of each, which matters more than it sounds: the same subject is examined very differently across the three.
This depends on the goal and the starting point. Some students benefit from a short focused programme ahead of exams. Others work with us weekly across the year, particularly where the aim is to be stretched rather than to catch up. Get in touch and we will assess what would actually be useful rather than selling a fixed block.
We work primarily online by video call, which lets us match on subject rather than postcode and support students wherever they are. For families based in London we are happy to arrange in-person sessions where practical.
Strong grades are the foundation any competitive application is built on, so the two are closely related, but they are different pieces of work.
